"Persimmon and Lemon"        SOLD

 The glow of this fruit is something special.  As I was painting these two, I couldn't quite get the lemon to look like a Lemon.  It looked more like a rock or an egg at times.  In the end I lost my patience and took out a big brush and smoothed it into it's place.  It came out fuzzy but that's okay because the protagonist here is the Persimmon.

Questa frutta splende in una maniera speciale.  Mentre stavo dipingendo queste due, non riuscivo a rappresentare il Limone.  Sembrava una pietra o un uovo.  Alla fine, ho perso la pazienza e ho preso un grande pennello, l'ho ammorbidito e messo al suo posto.  Ha un aspetto nebbioso ma va bene così perchè il vero protagonista è il Caco.
