I never know what I'm going to paint until I sit down infront of the easle and start looking around the cluttered table of onions, mandarines, apple etc.  The days are longer but the sun rises a little later than in December.  There was a purple light this morning that gradually turned to blue and let me see these two.

Non so mai cosa dipingerò finchè non mi siedo davanti al cavalletto ed inizio a guardare al armonioso disordine di cipolle, mandarini ecc. che c'è intorno.  Le giornate sono più lunghe ma il sole sorge un po più in tardi con rispetto ad un mese fa.  C'era una luce porpora questa mattina che gradualmente si era trasformata in blu e che poi mi ha permesso di vedere questi due.
