I'm an inpatient person.  When the colors don't come together, I start getting nervous and am tempted to brush everything away.  But if I just wait a minute or get up and drink a coffee and come back to the easel, then I can see that the painting isn't bad at all.

Sono una persona impaziente.  Quando i colori non quagliano, divento nervosa e sono tentata di spazzare via tutto.  Ma se aspetto un attimo o vado a bere un caffè, tono al cavaletto e mi rendo conto che il dipinto non è per niente male.
