I usually don't paint on mondays, people say that even the chickens don't lay eggs on mondays but today I am in the mood!

I've been away from the easle, busy working with on a team of decorators.  Today is a national holiday so here I am!

An elegant algernative to traditional framing is to simply mount these paintings on a small wood support. 

 Here I have drilled a 1cm. hole and used a strong carpenter's adhesive to fix it to the back of the canvas panel.

 I find that these delicate paintings 'breath' more and I also like the floating effect.
