It was such a hot and muggy day that I had waited until sunset to go outside and paint.  There is this field around Porchiano, the sun started to go down on the horizon, that's when the the colours become magical.

Era una giornata così calda ed affosa che avevo aspettato fino al tramonto per uscire fuori di casa e dipingere.  C'è un campo intorno a Porchiano, il sole iniziava a scenderedietro l'orizzonte, ecco il momento quando i colori diventano magici.

I wandered around the Campo Sportivo for a while until I settled on this row of trees as the sun started to light the treetops.

Ho vagato per il Campo Sportivo per un pò prima di trovare questa fila di alberi nel momento in cui il sole iniziasse ad illuminarli.

I wanted to paint with the morning light.  I walked onto the campo sportivo and looked around, nothing seemed to interest me and then I turned around and there it was, this tree.

Volevo dipingere con la luce di mattina.  Sono andata sul campo sportivo e mi sono guardata intorno, non c'era nulla che mi interesasse e poi mi sono girata ed eccolo lì, questo albero.

It's a beautiful morning.  The wind has been blowing for the last 2 days, feels like I'm at the beach with the rustling of the leaves sounding like waves crashing on the shore.

E' una mattina bellissima.  Il vento sta soffiando da 2 giorni e sembra che sto al mare, il rumore del vento nelle foglie assomiglia il suono delle onde del mare.
