I bought what I call 'artificial' flowers the other day.  They are all pumped up with hormones and colours I imagine.  I like their articiality.  It makes me appreciate wild flowers even more.

Ho comprato questi fiori 'artificiali' l'altro giorno.  Sono tutti pompati di ormoni e colori suppongo.  Mi fanno apprezzare ancora di più i fiori selvaggi.

This morning I wanted to paint some flowers, but it had rained cats & dogs all day yesterday, no flowers!

Volevo dipingere dei fiori stamattina ma ieri aveva piovuto 'cani e gatti', niente fiori!

It's very foggy outside this morning, everything is under a grey cloudy light.  It makes it easier to see colour.

E' molto nebbioso fuori stamattina, tutto è avvolto in una luce grigia nuvolosa. E' piu facile vedere i colori.
