I wasn't feeling very well this morning, infact after having prepared breakfast for my daughter I climbed back in bed with a warm waterbottle and stayed there until about 9.  Once I finally sat at the easle, I was looking for something round and with warm colours, I think I found it.

Non stavo sentendomi molto bene stamattina, infatti dopo aver preparato la colazione per mia figlia, mi sono rimessa a letto con la borsa dell'acqua calda e sono rimasta lì fino alle 9.  Quando finalmente mi sono seduta al cavalletto, cercavo qualcosa di tondo e caldo da dipingere, penso di averlo trovato.

I picked up these leaves sunday afternoon while walking around Porchiano with friends.  I think I'm gonna get into flowers soon, it's almost spring.

Ho raccolto questi foglie mentre passeggiavo intorno a Porchiano con amici domenica scorsa.  Penso che dipingerò dei fiori presto, la primavera è quasi arrivata.

It was snowing this morning as I opened the window to sit down and paint, nothing serious just some flurries, perfect defused light to paint from.

Stava nevicando stamattina mentre aprivo la finestra e sedermi per dipingere.  Niente di serio, solo qualche fiocco, luce diffusa, perfetta per dipingere.

It's freezing outside, yesterday it snowed a little, nothing serious though.  I wanted to paint something warm, something that would remind me of the summer.

C'è un gelo fuori, ieri ha nevicato un pò ma niente di serio.  Volevo dipingere qualcosa di tiepido, qualcosa che mi ricordasse l'estate.
