It was a bright and sunny day with a decisive breeze, thought I'd paint in the early afternoon.  I settled along a back road, the only traffic while I painted was a little ferret.

Era una giornata luminosa e soleggiata e la brezza soffiava decisamente, volevo dipingere nel primo pomeriggio.  Mi sono messa in una strada sterrata, l'unico traffico mentre che ero lì è stato di un furetto.

Yesterday afternoon around Porchiano del Monte, trying to paint the sky with sporadic afternoon showers coming and going.

Ieri pomeriggio intorno a Porchiano del Monte, cercando di dipingere il cielo con temporali occasionali di passaggio.

It's really hot outside these days, I'd really like to paint in the countryside but I'd need to wake up early to take advantage of the morning freshness.  Strolled around the town and picked up these flowers, a quick fix!

Fa veramente molto caldo in questi giorni, vorrei dipingere nella campagna ma dovrei svegliarmi presto ed approfittare della frescura mattutina.  Ho fatto due passi intorno al paese e raccolto questi fiori, un contentino veloce!

Yesterday was a hot and muggy day. The light was blinding, I had to wait until about 630pm to start 'seeing' colour.  I quickly painted this as the sun set behind me and rushed down the hill to see the procession of Santa Cristina, the town saint.

Ieri era una giornata calda e affosa.  C'era una luce ceccante e ho dovuto aspettare fino alle 1830 per iniziare a vedere dei colori.  Ho dipinto questo velocemente mentre il sole callava alle mie spalle e ho corso giù per la collina giusto in tempo per vedere la processione di Santa Cristina, santa del paese.

It was a very sluggish day after having barely slept through an evening filled with mosquitos.  I started waking up around 4pm and just in time to paint these beautiful clouds over Porchiano del Monte.

Era una giornata molto lenta oggi, non avevo dormito granchè a causa delle zanzarre.  Ho iniziato a svegliarmi verso le 4 del pomeriggio, giusto in tempo per dipingere queste bellissime nuvole.

I'm enjoying painting the flowers around Porchiano.  It's strage that there are so many, must be the torrential rains we've been having latelyl

Mi diverte dipingere i fiori intorno a Porchiano.  E' strano che ci siano tanti, forse è a causa della pioggia ultimamente.

I've been spending the last few days outside, painting small landscapes.  It's quite challenging.  I thought I'd regress this morning due to my time schedule and paint these flowers I picked yesterday afternoon.  I love the colours.

Sto dipingendo dei piccoli paesaggi negli ultimi giorni.  E' una sfida.  Stamattina ho deciso di regredire un po' e dipingere questi fiori che avevo raccolti ieri pomeriggio.  Amo questi colori.

I went down to Marcello and Federica's nature trail near Porchiano del Monte around 5:30 pm.  The light was perfect as was the shade.  This is the first landscape of the project and I've gotta say that I really enjoy being outdoors, surrounded by the sounds of the countryside.

Sono andata sul sentiero di Marcello e Federica vicino a Porchiano verso le 17,30.  La luce era perfetta come lo era anche l'ombra.  questo e' il primo paesggio del progetto e devo dire che mi sono veramente divertita stando fuori, circondata dai suoni della campagna.

If there's one thing that I enjoy about coming back to Anaheim, it's the availability of exotic fruits and foods.  I really enjoy my Mexican mangoes!

 Se c'e' qualcosa che mi piace  veramente quando torna ad Anaheim, e' la selezione di frutta e cibo esotico.  Quanto mi piacciono i mango Messicani!
