How to Care for Your Oil Painting

Here are some basic tips on how to care for your oil paintings.

WHERE NOT TO PUT YOUR PAINTINGS
* Keep them away from direct sunlight and in a room with a stable temperature & humidity.

* Keep them away from areas that have close access to water like bathrooms, kitchens, windows, and air conditioning vents.

* Hang them some distance from heaters, fireplaces and radiators.


CLEANING
* Use a soft natural brush is even better.  You can find these brushes in craft stores for around $10. 

* It's usually a good idea to dust your painting once a week.  But if you're a busy person like me, do it at least once a month!
