The Umbrian countryside around Porchiano del Monte is an endless view of rolling hills covered in oaks, olive trees and vines.  Painting outdoors in the warmer seasons is a genuine treat.  There's a type of silence that isn't exactly quiet.  I can hear the wind gently blowing, birds, insects and if I'm lucky a little ferret will pop in.

Flying Fruits & Veggies Series Now on Ebay & Etsy

 I've started to play with my veggies and fruit and I must say that I'm having quite a lot of fun!  These paintings are painted with Italian oil paints on finely prepared MDF panel and measure 11 x 6.4in. or
28 x 16cm.

They add a nice fresh touch to any kitchen, particularly contemporary or an Italian style kitchen.

Daily Paintings from Umbria are now on Auction on Ebay

I'm happy to announce that I'll be continuing with my daily paintings through the month of February.  It's not always easy to find the time to paint daily but lets just say that I'll give it an try!  

These paintings are larger in size(9.25 x 6.30in./23.4 x 16cm)and painted on finely prepared MDF panel.
