Pomegranates and Pomegranates

I came back from the FMLDesign OpenLab last sunday full of pomegranates.  So here I am.

Sono tornata dal OpenLab di FMLDesign domenica scorso piena di melograni.  Ecco mi qui.

"Mini Pomegranate on Doily"

I don't have any more large pomegranates.  I do have a mini pomegranate tree on my doorsteps.  Wasn't quite sure how this was going to look all by itself, I think it turned out sweetly.


Non ho piu melograni grandi.  Ho un melograno nano sui gradini di casa.  Non ero sicura di come sarebbe venuto il dipinto, penso che esprime dolcezza.  

I'm on a pomegranate trip...

 I'm on a pomegranat trip.  Friends have given me theirs or I've picked some.  
They're not quite ripe but I like their beauty.

 

Big Pomegranate Little Pomegranate

It's pomegranate season!  Picked these along the walls of Porchiano del Monte.  Ancient Egyptians reagarded this fruit as a symbol of prosperity and ambition.  I love it because of its' subtle colours.

E' tempo di melograni.  Ho colto questi intorno alle mura di Porchiano del Monte.  Gli antichi Egizi consideravano questo frutto come un simbolo di prosperità ed ambizione.
